Most hiring decisions lean on one source of evidence: how the interview felt. Talegent's assessments add three more, measured the same way for every candidate.

    What it is

Talegent is a talent assessment provider. Its PATH range includes:

    • PATH Personality. Motivations, decision-making style, communication style and preferred work environment, compared against the traits linked to strong performance in a given role.
    • PATH Cognitive Ability. Reasoning ability relevant to the role, as an indicator of how quickly someone is likely to learn and solve problems.
    • PATH Values. What a candidate values at work, compared with the values of your organisation.

Results are compared against relevant norm groups, so you're seeing how a candidate sits against a meaningful comparison, not in isolation.

    Why employers use it

Every candidate completes the same assessment and is measured against the same criteria. That makes the process fairer and the decision easier to explain, which matters most when the role is senior or the field is competitive.

    How we use it

    Recruitment and selection

We use Talegent where a role needs a clear read on reasoning ability as well as working style, or where a high volume of applicants needs a consistent first filter. Results always sit alongside a structured interview and reference checks, never instead of them.

    Values and fit

The values assessment helps test fit against what your organisation actually values, rather than a gut feel about whether someone "seems like one of us".

    Development

For internal talent, the same assessments can highlight strengths and development areas, and support promotion decisions.

    Who runs it

Bonnie Mohan is a Talegent accredited consultant and interprets every result personally.
